By her own admission Reesa Teesa doesn’t possess the stereotypical aesthetics of a TikTok ‘it’ girl. A self-described “fat girl” and “regular woman”, she refreshingly doesn’t have a lock of blonde hair or a set of blindingly-white veneers on display.

Her content also defies the conventional wisdom of what gets attention on TikTok too. Reesa Teesa doesn't make slick videos with viral “hooks” designed to grab your attention. She doesn't dance to viral songs or use trending sounds to game the algorithm. And she’s never tapped her nails on a serum bottle that’s been plucked from a skincare refrigerator.
