“And the dress code is YODO,” my friend Kris added as an afterthought.
“I am embarrassed that I have to ask… what is YODO?” I replied.
“You only die once!!!!!,” and with that I was rummaging through my wardrobe trying to find something to wear to go to Kris’ funeral, who, just so we are clear, is very much alive.
While the invite to her “FUNeral” was extraordinary we are talking about Kris Hallenga here. She is one of the most exceptional people I know. A trailblazer, creative force, odds-beater, agent of change and in her own words a turd glitterer. And after arranging her own living funeral I’m now adding death disruptor to this list.
