I went to Coachella last weekend. For those unfamiliar with the annual event, it’s a music and arts festival in the desert a few hours drive from Los Angeles. In its 24 year history - and due to its heavy celebrity, influencer, creator and rich kid crowd - it’s attracted many other labels including the Influencer Olympics and the Met Gala of street style.

Attendees dress for the three-day-palooza in a way that is unlike any other festival. Outfits are planned months in advance. Picturing it for the ‘gram just as the sun sets and the light is glowy is a ritual almost every guest participates in. As a result its impact on fashion is huge, often setting the trends that will shape how many will dress all summer and beyond. Remember when flower crowns were everywhere? Yeah, that was Coachella.
